My advice is do not trust SportsAcumen
I was a SportsAcumen customer. I had $85 in my account. Sports Acumen closed the account and have taken the money.
My advice is: DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY WITH SPORTS ACUMEN.
I know it sounds absurd. Why on earth would they do such a thing? Well here is their reply to that question ...
Dear Mel,
The only funds in the account were bonus credits and these were reversed from the account.
As the rules for bonuses state:
Sports Acumen reserve the right to use its discretion in the crediting or reversal of a bonus where customers do not act in the spirit of the promotion for any reason.

Since then I have written back to Joanna (at least three times) and also to the General Manager of SportsAcumen: Rob Gallagher. Neither have bothered to reply.
What could "in the spirit of the promotion" possibly mean? Someone more cynical might say it can mean whatever they want it to mean. I can only guess that I did not gamble the funds soon enough, but surely SportsAcumen could have written me an email warning me that the funds were about to expire. But instead SportsAcumen simply closed my account without any warning. And they didn't even tell me they had closed the account.
It seems to me that SportsAcumen is a little like a bank, they need their customers to trust that money in their account will stay in their account and that it is not going to mysteriously disappear over night.
Since my money did disappear over night; I wonder what they are thinking. And why they needed that money so desperately that they couldn't just leave it gathering dust in my account.
The only answer that I can come up with is that they are in financial difficulties and they have begun hoovering up any funds that are not being used on a regular basis.
Obviously I have no proof that SportsAcumen is going bust, but why else would they risk this kind of adverse publicity? Incidentally; I told them that I would be publishing these details and they made no objection.
Anyway why take the risk? There are plenty of other companies out there who don't engage in this kind of behaviour so I would suggest you take your business there.
P.S. If SportsAcumen has done the same thing to you, lets join forces and see if there is some legal avenue to get our money back. Send an email to SportsAcumen@is-crap.com ... unlike Sports Acumen I won't ignore your emails.
